According to Alabama Public Health, as of April 19, 2021 there are 522,512 total cases of coronavirus in Alabama.
There are 48,316 hospitalized in the state with the virus and 10,790 deaths so far.
All individuals age 16 and older are now eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine in the state of Alabama.
The Pfizer vaccine and Moderna vaccine are currently being provided.
