The M.O.V.E. Community Foundation is hosting its Black Business Expo Saturday, June 15th at Bloch Park located at 108 Dallas Ave Selma, Al 36701.

The M.O.V.E. Community Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization founded in 2020 whose mission is to guarantee effective community revitalization projects with a main focus in the Dallas, Perry, Lowndes, Autauga counties of Alabama.

For the past four years, M.O.V.E. has partnered with various non- profit organizations in each of its service areas to assist with various needs.

The Juneteenth fundraiser is another effort the organization is organizing to raise funds for its upcoming community efforts. In the past, M.O.V.E. has provided resources to teachers and children in underfunded schools, hygiene products to the homeless, hats, gloves and coats during the winter months, and resources to storm victims.

Through fundraisers such as the Easter Basket Fundraiser, the Black Business Expo, and the 21+ Summer Cooler fundraiser M.O.V.E. hopes to  continue supporting local school systems, provide resources such as voting literacy, assistance for community emergency efforts, and other needs-based activities.
