Marion native to host trucking and welding networking opportunity

Marion and surrounding community members will have the chance to hear from different successful young adults about different job possibilities on May 1st from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Jeremy Wright, owner of J Wright Transportation LLC, is hosting a networking opportunity for the community. 

He said that this is an opportunity to help young adults find a career path.

“The job fair is to give back to young adults and basically show them the fundamentals of business within the trucking and welding industries,” he said.

Wright said his community needed an event like this one to spread the positivity while helping others.

“I got tired of seeing all of the negative stuff on Facebook about what was going on in the town and I felt like somebody needed to do something,” he said.

This is a networking opportunity and Wright’s hope is that it is beneficial to at least one person.

“We might not reach everybody, but we will reach somebody that wants to do better,” he said.

There will be different tents set up for the job seekers to walk around and network with business owners and current truckers and welders.

The event will be held at Blackbelt Supply Parking Lot 1239 Washington St. Marion, Al 36756.
