Marion popup shop earns positive reviews and community support

It was all smiles and laughs as community members gathered to support local businesses at Punkyn’s 1st Annual Popup Shop.

Event organizer and local business owner Sheriland “Punkyn” Brooks said the event turned out better than she expected.

“I think it was a pretty good turnout,” she said.

Brooks said the event was a good opportunity to expose the community to businesses they probably never would have known about otherwise.

“I think alot of the vendors got their businesses out,” she said. “So people now know what alot of people sell.”

Brooks said she had an opportunity to support each business and hopes they did well at her very first popup shop.
